Our Castellation Mats are extremely versatile and are a popular choice for installers due to how fast they can be installed.
The mats lay down and clip together, so they are even easier to manage single-handedly. The castellation mats are interconnecting, pre-spaced at 50mm, with each mat covering 1.12m² and can be used with any kind of screed.
What’s unique about the Castellation Mat system?
With the Castellation Mat system pipe can be designed and installed at 45° angles, not just 90° angles which helps provide increased flexibility, especially when installing in irregular shaped rooms.
For added peace of mind, we use high temperature rated PEX pipe, rated at 98°C at 10 bar, rather than PERT pipe which is only rated at 65°C. Plus, PEX pipe is WRAS approved, so it can also be used elsewhere on your project for potable drinking water.
